To treat \'galsundho\' cut unripe papaya in two halves. Bake it for about 10-15 minutes, allow it to cool down for sometime so that the animal can bear its heat and then tie it around the dorsal side of the neck for 15 minutes. Repeat this 3-4 times at half an hour intervals. It shows improvment after 4 to 5 hrs. People believe that this is very serious disease hence they take great care of the animal. However farmers say that by adopting some other methods of cures together with this, animal gets complete relief within 2-3 days. Since papaya fruits are available very commonly this treatment has become a common practice and has been followed for the last 40-50 years in this region<\/p>\n <\/li>\n
